Brick - Wainscot

Brick wainscots start from just below finished grade (ground level) or from the top of the foundation wall if the wall has been cast with a brick ledge in place. They go up a distance but stop short of going all the way to the soffit as a veneer does. Brick wainscots will typically have a rollick course of brick that run the length of the wainscot which acts as a functional drip edge.
